American Mounties

In this class you will learn the basics of paper clay sculpting. These small “Mounties” are simply adorable on the wall, or a shelf, and have the greatest personalities. Learn to build an armature to hold your clay, clay application, acrylic painting, and wood staining.
Cindy will instruct you in forming your armature to give your clay piece a lifelike look. You will paint and colorize your clay animal, learning to shade, highlight and add dimensional pieces, including mixed media.
Kick back and enjoy this very fun, very creative workshop while learning how to easily sculpt paper clay.
Some supplies are provided by the instructor for a $10 fee paid at the beginning of class.
About Cindy:
Cindy is a painter & mixed media artist. She creates in a variety of mediums including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, collage, air dried clay, fiber clay & recycled assemblage.
Cindy is a published artist who has taught painting, drawing, and varied mixed media techniques throughout her career at seminars, educational facilities, galleries, shops and retreats. She has been published in Somerset Studio Magazine 22 times over the past 13 years and enjoys teaching and bringing others to their creative potential.
