Paula enjoys rendering realism in a variety of media, including acrylics, oils, airbrush, and sculptures in clay or cement. Raised on a ranch in the southern California desert, she developed an aptitude for art at an early age and horses were her favorite subject. While studying art and computers at Pima and Yavapai College, Paula also apprenticed with master painter Fred Lucas, who utilized the Old Dutch Masters’ oil painting techniques.
Her work has been in galleries in Prescott and Cottonwood Arizona, won awards in student juried shows, and been featured in a magazine. Future endeavors include getting her art in more galleries and shows, as well as publishing her illustrated books.
