I believe it’s important to paint from your heart, paint what you know and love, what inspires you. My goal as an artist is to convey to the viewer the same feelings of joy and beauty that I feel when I experience those fleeting moments of a beautiful thunderhead cloud, the first or last light of day, a hushed and peaceful morning, or a glorious Southwest sunset.
I gather most of my material on the ranch that my husband and I own and operate Northwest of Prescott. I am grateful for the privilege of living the life of a rancher and the inspiration it provides. My place is in the West, and I am always inspired by my surroundings.
