John Foley is a painter and writer living in Prescott Valley, Arizona. He primarily paints landscapes and seascapes. Most of his artistic inspiration is based on scenes he encounters on hikes, kayak trips and sailing excursions.
John’s books include the young adult novels A Mighty Wall, Lost Frontier, Leaving Dreamland, and Hoops of Steel, which was named a Book for the Teen Age by the New York Public Library. His latest novel, One For The Team, was published in June 2021.
His freelance writing has appeared in Spirituality & Health Magazine, Alaska Magazine, Sail Magazine, Heinemann Books for Young Readers, Editor & Publisher, and many other publications.
