My paintings now include plein air work inspired by Southwest landscapes. I paint in oils on canvas or panels with an emphasis on the extraordinary energy and light of the Red Rocks and Grand Canyon. As I wander the Southwest, new work is inspired by visits to Utah and beyond.
“Caffeinated Art” emerged from my coffee addiction and the desire to use recycled materials. The Boston and Sedona landmarks are created entirely from used espresso pods. They are embedded in a layer of resin, protecting the surface and enhancing the colors. Commissions from photos are welcome; past works include wedding venues and memorable landmarks.
