Plein Air Painting
With Cody DeLong
Come join International painter Cody DeLong for plein air painting in the Sedona area. First day en plein air painting, we will meet in the Dry Creek trailhead in Sedona (2nd day location to be announced later).
Cody will be teaching his “Six Step though process ” for better painting results in this two day outdoor workshop. Each morning Cody will talk about how to improve our problem solving though process, followed by a demo to help put it all together for you. The rest of the day you will practice these techniques with Cody helping, and doing occasional quick demos as needed. Topics will include what questions you ask yourself, in the right order, to greatly improve your consistency and results.
Most of us get a really good painting now and then, but do you ever wonder why your results are not more consistent? It’s generally more about the concept then it is about the technique and clarifying your idea at the start and then creating a plan of action is a rewarding better painting process and results in greater satisfaction.
