Metal Clay Silver Ooh and Aah Ring

Learn the next step up from a basic beginner as each student creates a one-of-a-kind ring. The class will each create a setting for a 5mm Cubic Zirconium (synthetic gemstone). Then students will incorporate this gemstone setting into a textured band. You will further enhance your creation with the addition of “snakes” and balls. Finally, the ring is torch fired, polished, and a patina is added. Each student will take home a finished piece of jewelry!
The material fee is not included in the cost of the tuition. This fee is due to the instructor on the day of the class and will include the Art Clay Silver, handouts, firing cost, misc. consumables, and all necessary materials to complete the project. The tools provided during the class project will remain the property of the instructor. Students are highly recommended to bring magnification (reading) glasses if needed. Lunch is not supplied so please feel free to bring a bagged lunch or something to snack on.
$40.00 supply fees to be paid directly to Marie, on the morning of class.
