Learn to Zentangle

With Rho Densmore

There will be a $10 material fee paid to the instructor morning of class.

Zentangle is a step by step method of creating beautiful artwork by drawing simple, repetitive, yet structured patterns. These
patterns are called “tangles.” By learning these steps, one can explore creating non-representational art, while focusing on each stroke (and less concerned about the finished result) this art form can contribute to enhanced relaxation and increased mindfulness.

In this class, students will be introduced to the basic Zentangle method which consists of working with a pencil and black Micron ink pen on 3 ½ paper squares called tiles. They will learn the step-by-step process along with 8 patterns (called tangles) and the basic concept of shading. At the end of class, they will go home with two completed tiles and the supplies to continue exploring this process at home.
