Artist's Statement
Working in clay is so limitless I can only acquiesce in joy to its influence over me. The clay in my hands begs to be shaped, carved and formed to my minds delight.
Most of my time in the studio is spent making vessels by the age-old methods of coiling and hand building. I have been artistically inclined since about the age of five, having several artists of different media in my family to inspire me.
Keeping the work at the highest level of technical skill and fresh in its design is a daily challenge I aspire to.
