As all artists know, unsold art becomes a storage problem. The MAG Gallery has decided to give MAG members opportunities to sell their excess art inventory at Artists Inventory Reduction Sales during the coming year. Four such sales are planned on the weekends following the 4th Friday Receptions.
1. February 23 & 24
2. April 27 & 28
3. July 27 & 28
4. October 26 & 27

The initial event will be held February 23-24 in the meeting room during normal gallery hours from 11 am – 4 pm. Artists are Donna Carver, Pamela Dunmire, Alice Gunter and Katy Standhardt.

The goal is to have 3-5 artists displaying their art at reduced prices and demonstrating or lecturing about their art form during the sale as is done during the Studio Tours. There will be no entry fee for these events and the art will be sold through the gallery at a reduced commission of 20%. If interested in participating, contact the Gallery for further information. These events will be limited to the first five artists to apply.

MAG will promote these events and will help the artists in their self-promotion efforts. In order to allow adequate time for promotion of the first event, artists must sign up by 18 December 2012.

Winter hours for the Gallery:
The Gallery will be closed Sundays from November 11 through February 17, 2013.
